Cranked right up the first try and runs pretty good untuned. Should run excellent with a good tune. This is my first time installing a cam in an LT1 and I took my sweet time. And to think I almost quit at the beginning lol. Definitely harder than the older ones. The biggest PIA's were removing and installing the dipstick tube, removing exhaust manifolds, dropping the oil pan, and getting the new timing set on perfect was a bit of a pain also. Actually sounds better and choppier than I thought the hotcam would. Got to order my Y-pipe for the Mac mids (anybody have one for sell?) and get a tune next. Whos the best to go with for a mailorder tune on a 93 and about how much is it?

that sounds good! i have mac mids and i really like them. they woke the car up pretty damn well. youll love swapping spark plugs after you install the headers. its so much nicer over the stock manifolds which are just the biggest PITA in the world!
