Default Track times with 5177?

I have been seaching through post for it seems like forever now and I cant find any track times with any one using the NOS 5177 kit. Mostly TNT or NX wet kits. I am thinking about buying the kit and running it on a 100 shot. Just courious as to what times you guys are getting?

I ran 10s with a 5177 kit almost 4 years ago. 10.84 at ~125 MPH I believe it was. That was with an internally stock engine and a loose as a goose 4600 stall which certainly didn't help matters much on the bottle.

125 HP #5177 kit. Keep in mind, the car ran 11.5s on motor.

My 4500lbs race weight truck ran 14.3's with a small 60 shot on a 4.8L. The truck is mostly stock.

I plan on dipping well into the 13's with a 120 shot and some other mods over the winter.

With my 5177 kit making 150 rwhp I ran 10.9x's @ 125 with a PT4400 stall shifting into overdrive with my bolt-on car. My best motor passes were in the 12.1x range. The 5177 kit is a great kit, I definately recommend it. Good luck!

Not flagging just questionning.

150rwhp out of the 5177?/ HOW? I run that kit and without jets its only flowing at a max of 108rwhp.

You are Nawssing 150rwhp on a 4400 stall ??

You're shooting N2O in 4th (A4) ??

What tranny do you have 4L60E (E doesn't stand for earthcrusher you know)?

Jeffrey has dual lines. One line feeds each solenoid which then feed into the lid. It's more like a 250 dry shot. Correct me if I'm wrong J...

He is shooting 250 dry, I'm curious how he does that and how he makes his runs.
That much N2O on a 4400 TC means he is actualy stalling around 4800 or so.
And no I'm not joking, anybody shooting 250 dry is capable of doing it all the way into 4th

He was talking about Nawss, some guys are watching fast and the furious to many times. I also said to myself when I read the post, "What the hell is Nawss?". Sounds ridiculous to some of us.

I sprayed my 5177 kit into 120+traps on a stock motor. I too am spraying it with no jets. However, on the dyno, I only made 75 more rwhp, but gobbs of torque. That was on a cold bottle though. I'm thinking somewhere around 125 now, since I've been heating it, and my trap speed went up by 5mph. It's a good kit. Haven't tried it with the true duals yet. Can't wait.

Well get with it man! You call it what you want.
That is not my interest (political correctness). My interest is gobbling more data and other poeple's experience, so I can run better times.
So can we concentrate on tech and not terminology please.

My "GM EFI" NX kit on my '94 took off .91 on my ET with 100-shot jets and good bottle pressure. It also raised my trap by 10 MPH. This was comparing back to back runs, NA and then spraying.

Just one data point for you.

My car is an A4, 3.23 gears, lid, cutout & 5177 kit. With the .032 jets, I went from a 13.40 @ 104 to a 12.50 @ 114.

I have my stall in now, I can't wait to get to the track this weekend!

Thats the numbers I was expecting with my kit. I have a 2.73 car with a lid, cutout, and the 5177 kt jetted at .032. I ran a 13.9 @ 103 off the bottle, and a 13.1 @ 108 on the bottle. I was expecting my mph to be a lot more than that. My car dynoed almost 75 more rwhp on the bottle too.

Bottle pressure is very important. If you want the best power with the 5177 kit, be sure you pressure is about 1100-1250psi.
