I have a ls7 clutch, and I love it. I have...the same mods pretty much lol. From what I gather, it is fine until you add spray/sticky tires. But for street duty, its great. SDPC is where I got mine from. Very good price....I honestly think half the price of what my local GM store wanted.

is a ls7 clutch better than a centerforce clutch?

I had the LS7 and loved it. But now I'm making too much power for it. It never slipped on me but I didnt want to take a chance so I upgraded.

Go to the manual transmission section, there's a lot of info on there already. IF/When mine goes, I'm doing the LS7 swap from SDPC

check out the manual trans section for a lot more info. i have an ls7 and i love it. it holds more power than the stock clutch, but it feels just like stock and is pretty cheap. next cluch i get will probably be a monster clutch though.

I hear the Monster Clutches have a problem with there flywheels. They dont have dowels in them to line up and hold the clutch assembly from rocking back and forth and come improperly balanced.

LS7 drives like stock. In my opinion centerforces and SPEC 3+ and up clutches are a real bitch....had a few in some old cars and HATED them. I currently have an LS6 in my bolt on t/a and its great

I had the LS7 setup in my DD CETA. With heads, cam and full bolt ons it never slipped once even when I hit it with a 150 shot. I'll be ordering another one for my '00 Z28 before I get back to the states

I have the LS7 and LOVE it. Drives like stock, and is quite a bit better than low-mid level Centerforce and Spec clutches... Not to mention it will last a LOT longer. Check my sig.
