Default LT1 opinion

Wow, I'm excited in April I'll be picking up a 95 Z28. I could opt for the LS1 for more, but what better bang for the buck for 5k. Car has low miles 70k.
I'll be installing an STS turbo system without an hesitation. The beauty of it is just having so much go for so little. Its the true American way am I right?

Where are you located? $5k seems a little high for a '95 Z.

That'd be a decent price for an LT1 in good condition with that mileage in the northeast.

I did a search within 200 miles of me here in PA..;...95-96 z28s with 50-70 thousand miles were listed at 6500 to 8000.

You could probably buy a ticket down to CA and drive it back and still save money.

I guess your area will dictate the price, i.e. supply and demand.

If that's what they go for over there, then get it. If you can find one cheaper and still save money after a road trip down there and back, then do that.
