thats perfect for a hot idle oil pressure reading. Oil smell means its leaking from somewhere though.

if you're running 5w-30 oil then 20 psi at 800 rpm is normal, especially when the coolant temp is 195F but you're oil temp is around 240F (i know i have an oil temp gauge).

smell of oil means, well just that. Look at the pcv system see if any of the hoses are
off and crankcase vapors are escaping, look for oily residue in the engine bay, stuff like that. Otherwise you may have an oil leak, is the car stock or has work been done to it? as soon as you rev the engine when hot, up around 1500 rpm, if you get 40psi oil pressure then you're oil pump is working fine, what's happening is a combination of bearing clearances with lower oil viscosity for being 200-250F. Run a heavier oil, if ambient temps are above 50F then try 15w40 such as mobil delvac, chevron delo.
