Default UPF44 Ultraguard Gold oil filters.....

Has anyone tried them for the 5.3L yet?

They are very popular with the vette guys and they will fit any LS1/2

They also fit our LS4's

From what I read, they are a premium filter and I do have one in my possesion to try. The weight difference between this filter and the regular ac delco filter is huge!

Use a delco filter and Mobil 1. The filter is less than $4 at wal-mart. Waste your money on something else.

Ya see the thing is Mel, if your running full synthetic your filter will be spared some of the impurities that conventional oil leaves behind. There for I see know need for a $12 filter.

There is absolutely no reason to use a 12 dollar filter when using synthetic.

Mobil1 and a delco filter.
