Default Hid question

i installed hids in my t/a about a week ago and i love them but if i put up my headlights with the car not on most of the time only one goes on but if i start the car and then put them on they both go on everytime. is there not enough juice when the cars off to put them both on?

That could be the problem.. You could get a relay kit to maybe solve that problem! The relay runs a wire to the battery so the ballasts get power straight from the battery..

Typically its not a good thing to turn on the HIDs with the car off. Its possible to damage the ballasts. Its always good practice to turn the HIDs on when the car is on. I always recommend a relay harness. Very easy to hook up. I run one in both of my cars. The harness connects to the ballasts, a good ground and to the battery for power.
