Do I need a tune for 92/92 manifold/tb?
I installed the 92 combo about two months ago, lot of my buddies say I should get the t/a tuned, I've noticed how the rpm range is to 6k before it redlines now. All is stock except the manifold and tb.

i say wait until you get full bolt ons, or else it would be a wasted tune.
if you dont plan on that stuff in the immediate future then maybe you should get a tune. depends on your plans.

I would call a local tuner and see what their take on it is. I guess like was stated before if you are not going to add anymore parts for another year or so, get it tuned, it will pick up. If you are looking to keep modding it, then I would wait until you need it.
I guess I would just get it tuned for the fact that you are missing power now and you might be satisfied after it is done without having to spend money on other bolt ons.

Thanks on the feedback. I only have the LSX 92, soon as my tax returns come in, i'm going to be getting 3.73s and a 3k stall for the meantime, so I should just wait then, as for more bolt ons it will probably be another 6 months or so.

You dont need a tune for just the intake and TB. I ran mine for several months on my H/C car with no problems. Obviously it will pick up more power with a tune but wait until you get headers at least because you will end up needing a tune again.
