I have a 1995 z28 with 115k miles... I just bought it for 3400.00 when i stomp on it it will haul *** to about 4500 rmp then it wont shift it will bouce for 4k to 4500 rpm but wont shift until i let off the gas. Same thing happens when i am n the highway just rolling and i stomp it and it will run all the way to high rmps but wont shift until i get off the gas..... Please does anyone know anything abut this help me

adjust ur tps or atleast see what ur tps is reading if you have a scanner....do a search and you find out how to adjsut ur tps readings....

Check your cats (if you have them). Reluctancy to shift or reach higher RPMs can usually mean your cats are clogged.

mine would do the same thing (cept for 6000 - 6200 RPM) worked like that for 4 years, went through 2 trans rebuilds and it never fixed it.

One day i just filled the fluid past the full line on the stick and guess what, fixed it. The whole time it was just low on fluid (stick is wrong), who wouldave guessed.

The point is never overlook anything...

mine does the samething only at WOT and the top of 3rd bounces off the rev limiter untill i let off i got my computer tuned and that fixed the prob plus more
