I installed mine about two weeks ago. I am VERY VERY happy with the results. And IMHO there is NO comparing them to TEA's 5.3 heads. The TEA 5.3's are comparable to Patriot's 5.3's, but the LS6 style is a lot different.

Well if TEA heads are Core charge free, come with your choice of CC size, have LS6 style ports, and are unmilled for maximum valve clearances I would have to say "no they are not better". Seeing as how TEA is none of the previously stated and they have only a slight price advantage, my vote goes with the PP LS6/style stage III's. Seeing as how I do not own PP heads or TEA heads these are only my opinions. I must say that before PP had there LS6 style heads I was saving for TEAs though, can't beat cheap and decent performance.

We don't fit in any of those catigories because we don't by raw castings, we don't weld chambers, and we buy more expensive parts.

Brent please stop bashing Patriot. If you have a beef with them contact them directly over email.

Do NOT air it on the board.

Your message and the other quotes have been edited

Funny...lately everytime Patriot is brought up with any negative slant, the post gets edited or deleted. Starting to feel like the left wing media. I ssume there is a little favoritism goin' on...that me just trying to be objective..I went Cartek. We all just from info obtained and as members we should peel through the opinions. They often help us ask good questions. So please limit the censorship. I personally like waht Patriot is doing, but thats besides the point. I also think TEA is an excellent sponser.
My 2 cents.... BIG CUBES, low dollars, go Patriot...smaller cubes, better performance go TEA. I reserve the right to change my opinion every minute.

You are welcome to change your opinion as often as you like. When a sponsor goes into a thread and calls another sponsors parts "crappy" then it is not acceptable. Sponsors are held to a higher standard than the average user on the board. That is why the post was edited. (I didn't actually edit the post but I am glad it was edited)

personally i was going to go TEA for my heads, but im EXTREMELY happy i went with patriot

Terry has been great to deal with and my heads perform amazing. gained roughly 3.5-4 mph in worse weather untuned. works for me

my decision to go with patriot over tea was confirmed when i recieved a pm from TEA with negative comments (incorrect ones at that) about my patriot heads, as well as viewing TEA's remarks in some of these threads.

good luck with your ls6 style heads, if i had some extra bucks i would have gone with them, but im very happy with my 5.3's

I have a set of TEA heads on my Z06 and I'm happy with the performance. I was happy with their support and the way they stood behind their product.

I am also very happy to see Patriot stand behind their heads, while breaking into the LSx market. I think competition is great for the consumer (us). It can only make the end product better and prices lower.

As much as I like Brent and Brian, I will be going with Patriot heads on the stroker motor TSP is building for me. No core + combustion chamber size of my choice and stock deck height was a no brainer for me.

I believe both vendors make a good product for the $$'s, but the bashing is really getting old.
