Default fuel rail size vs hp rate?

hey guys,

Anyone have any research on what a fuel rail size will flow hp wise?

In particular what a 3/4" rail vs a 3/8" rail will flow?

Thanks!
Tim

The 3/4" will flow roughly 4 times as much fuel as a 3/8" one will.

Not sure of rail ratings, but a 3/8" fuel line will easily support 750hp.

I sure hope so, because 750 isn't going to get it done in my case. I am planning on 800-850rwhp.....

consider that the factory line is what 1/4" ID? and what hp people can make through it like 600rw conservatively; and that 3/8 hose (-6) has twice the area of 1/4

and that only half of all the fuel for the engine is used in a given rail

i thought i went ultra conservative with a single -8 yet i still see people running -8 to EACH rail.. thats easily 1500hp of fuel per rail.. thats redonkulous
