I want you guys to answer. An answer from the faster croud. I am changing the red car to a hard top. what i was thinking is cuting the center metal section out of the roof. I am adding the side braces, my car has a 25.5cage. Just what do you think??? has any one done this if so what does it weigh.

Yes i have been keeping up with that i as in here hoping to hear some lets say faster racers. I have the roof off the car not just going to take a die grinder and cut a little off the bottom i am thinking the whole thing . I just wonder if there is strenth for the glass. i have cut and going to smooth the firwall as well. and we are puting a X brace in the cage.
