Default FI help have some ???'s need help

Im currently building an engine for the the street. my goal is looking for the highest hp and lb ft numbers i can on pump gas with the 67mm sts kit but keeping it intact and making my car last on a budget. shortblock im thinkin the block is the aluminum 5.7 ls1 block, forged mahle pistons, forged eagle or scat h beam rods arp 2000 bolts, either stock crank or forged 4.000 crank to go to a 383. then for heads has anybody ran L92 heads in boosted applications and wondering how well they work???? i already have a set of 317 heads i can use to lower my compression a bit. im think 02-04 ls6 cam unless something else would be better? i would run the ls2 intake with 90mm with the 317 heads or an ls3/l92intake with the l92 heads. I also will be running the stock manifolds into a y-pipe because ive been told ill be much happier with them than the longtubes i have. i plan on running either a front mount or meth injection, dual intank fuel pumps, big injectors and what not to support the hp. help would be greatly appreciated! thanks

whats gonna hurt you is the 67mm turbo your will max that out before you max anything else out. a proper built ls1 can hold 700+,then you also have to worry about the trans and the great 10bolt going kaboom

yea i was kinda thinkin my turbo would be a lil small and start runnin out of air to make big numbers...more or less wanting to make a very overall good 700-800 streetable hp with a good hp/torque curve with limited lag. yea im a lil worried about my great 10 bolt
and i just hope my tranny holds for a while. i have a spec 3+ and spec flywheel but idk....

67mm isn't gonna make it to the 700-800rwhp range.

For that level of HP you can forget using a 67mm. You will need a 76-78mm. A TC unit would be the easiest unit to swap in. We have alot of the STS/rearmount guys using those units now....and they love them.
