Transmission issue.
so i just went on a run down the street and my transmission wasn't shifting from 1st to 2nd right. i have the stock 4l60e with about 45k miles.
when i took off real slow it wouldn't shift till like 23-2400 rpm and when i would take off at normal speed it wouldn't shift into 2nd till around 3500 rpm. it gets up over 3000 and just kinda stalls out for a bit, then will slide into 2nd.
i drove it home from work earlier this afternoon and there were no issues. i am gonna check my fluid in the morning, hoping it just might need to be flushed. don't really have the $ for a rebuild.
has anyone else had this problem or know what it might be?

not exactly what i wanted to hear. i was gonna buy an intake with the income tax money coming but looks like i may have to just save up a lil more and go with a new stalled trans.
is it safe to still drive. most likely just like to work and back, round trip 5 miles. keepin off the gas?

this is true, i was just hoping to not have to do anything with the trans for a while. with the intake i was lookin at maybe $1100 for the intake and TB, with the trans lookin at atleast $1500 just for the trans. i'm gonna want the trans cooler, skipshift, and a stall also, so its gonna be over $2g's just for the parts.

i cruised around the block to take a quick video. maybe it will help show my situation. this was at an average take off. instead of shifting at a lower rpm like normal it goes up to 3000 before i started to let off. it will go as high as 3600 before kinda sitting there for a bit then shifting.
this ones after taking a corner and giving it a little gas. you can see it ges as high as like 3600-3700 before shifting down
if i'm cruising in second and try to try to launch it will just go to the rev limiter. it doesn't want to shift into the next gear. any ideas of what it might be after watching the video. not looking forward to possably having to spend around $3g's on a new trans.

You have no second gear, It's going from 1-3.
Just went through this about 4 months ago.
With limited driving, it will last you a couple more months (mine lasted 1.5 months with a 20 mile round trip 5-6 days a week)
However, there is a SLIM chance it could be a servo, so i'd spend 12 dollars and pick one up off of ebay (search corvette servo). It's pretty easy to install and theres a small chance it could be the problem (don't get your hopes up though lol)
