Default High Altitude LT1

Hey guys. I'm thinking about buying an LT1

My buddy in sc (hes on here) has a nice 94Z I want to pick up from him.

Right now the car has

AZSM Ceramic Headers
H-Pipe
Borla Exhaust
Underdrives
4:10's
Granatelli MAF
Aerofoyle
Intake
Tuned

The car is an M6.

What do you guys think it would run?

The only kicker is that I'm at over 5,000ft elevation. Usually race at bandimere.

Also, my future plans would be AI heads / HR cam and maybe a little juice like a 75 shot and get into mid 11's at this altitude.

I know I'd need to build the 10-bolt and prob a clutch, and a set of stickies and skinnies. Anything else you guys think I need to run that?

Any input is appreciated, esp any high altitude guys with LT1's

Thanks,

Greg

OBTW he said the car ran a 8.801 bone stock with just a repl. panel filter

and if he said it, the car ran it...

I looked up some chart in the net and that converts roughly to a 13.75 1/4. That feasible with a good driver?

I know I can't really expect this at the altitude I'm at, but with all the other bolt ons I'm thinking it will still be in the 13's?

Thanks

what density/altitude were his runs ?
i run with a similar set up and at 3000' DA i managed a 13.35 w/clutch problems...i would say where you are about 5k + 13.9-14.1

Well they were in SC so pretty damn close to sea level LOL.

Dunno what the DA was then it's been years ago. The car just sets now which is one reason he would consider selling it to me. Needs opti spark too.

hmmm... I might go ahead and strap on a bottle while I'm saving for the H/C. Lil 50 shot should help make up for the difference eh?

Sea level,i sure miss it in ways!
my old TPI bolt on iroc ran 13.2 at HRP and when i came back to the desert my best was 13.7 so i lost 5tenths and as the DA increased my worst pass was 14.3.....
my buddy was running 11.7 in his 91z at HRP,moved to Denver and he was running 13.1

Yep! lol that's the way it goes.

My truck runs low 14's up here. Hopefully I can get the Z faster than that lol
