Default A run-in with TBSS

On my way home, I saw this silver TBSS coming up behind me and then it changes lanes to get beside me. TBSS started pacing me then he guns it, so I gunned it. TBSS and my car were neck to neck then I started walking it til I got 2-3 carlengths then I got out of the gas and slowed down. Then, he flys past me and flashed his brakelights 3 times. I don't know if he thought he won or what. I walked him for about 2-3 carlengths. So he followed me for about 20 miles or so. When we got to where there's hardly any traffic, he pulled up beside me and I revved at him. So he bites and guns it and I did the same. I walked him hard again. Then he tried to play catch up. It was too late for all that. TBSS are quick for an SUV and they pull hard from a dig especially AWD. I used to own a black one but unfortunately I wrecked it on my way to work. It was over a year ago. If I knew better back then, I would of salvaged the LS2 motor and probably dropped it in my CETA or at least swapped out the heads and a cam or something.

Yea I agree. I used to own one and they are nasty. I actually underestimated my car against TBSS and I wanted to see how would I stack against it. I was really surprised of the outcome.

If you were being honest you would admit that he pulled you real hard. I know it is hard to admit that but a SUV just walked you real hard . It is a high 11 second TBSS so do not feel bad , he walks alot of people .

Saw an 06 for sale locally at $19k

Only thing keeping me away from those is their fuel economy...

Nice kill, i raced one from a roll once. We stayed neck & neck for awhile then i finally started pulling. Im sure on a dig, i would be playin catch up but there really good SUV's. If i could manage another payment, i would get myself one.

You aren't lying about them going cheap. I got mine a month ago 2006 with 30,000 miles for $16,000 and it's white. Oh, good kill op!!

Well congrats guys on the purchases. I'm one of the lucky ones that got the meat and bought new before the bust, lol. Looks like I'll be keeping it for quite awhile
