Default Ls6 intake question

Hey fella's. Just bought an LS6 intake from a forum membe. I'm going to be installing it on my '99 SS. I would like to get my TB P/P. My question is, can I still use the ls1 TB? Or do I need to get an LS6 TB?

thanks for the help

You can use your throttle body. The LS6/1 are the same size and both will interchange.

My car came with an ls6 intake manifold stock, and as far as I know we have the same tb, so there shouldn't be any reason for you to have to change it.

yes, stock LS1/LS6 TBs are the exact same 75mm TB
