Default anybody running a 60-1???

I am going to be building a rear mount, and have a 60-1 with an ar .96. how well will this work with my stock LT1? I want to make 450ish to the wheels i'm sure a bigger turbo would be better, but will it work?
Also how will the turbo spool with the .96 ar?

It will work, but I doubt you ll see 450 at the wheels. Maybe....but most are probably closer to 400 unless your doing a lot of other things to the lt1.

I had ~435 to the wheels with the stock sts turbo and stock motor. I believe the stock turbo is a 60-1. You can get a little more out of it with intercooler and cam. I think i've seen up to 500. But then again you have an LT1. It would be easier to do with a 67.

He said LT1 ...........so it doesnt have symetrical intakes and exhuasts, it doesnt flow 225 cfm on the intake and the exhuast manifolds suck compared to an ls1. Ofcourse the aluminum intake doesnt help when compared to the the composite intake of lsx..

Yes it will spool, great, it will probably make peak power around 4500 and be very fun to drive.

The most that turbonetics rates this model at is 550 FWHP, if i'm not mistaken. The a/r would be close to right, but I'm not sure how it will work with your STS. Best advice I can give would be to wrap the hell out of everything to keep the heat in.
