Default took the car out tonight and....

Well my car has been sittin all winter and I finally got it out today to take it for a drive. I did a few 3rd and 4th gear pulls and the car felt ok but as I was watching the boost gauge I noticed a few times it was'nt showing any boost and then when it did show boost it was only showing a few pounds. Any ideas??

if you think it was running like it did before you parked it, maybe your guage is bad.

If the car felt 'OK', then I am guessing it is the boost gauge. If the car was not making boost, you would notice it.

the only thing i can thing of is to check the piping from the compressor and the throttle body to see if you have a leak anywhere, also how is the belt for the sc looking ? . if the car feels strong it is probably just a boost gauge problem.

I agree. Do a boost leak check by capping off the inlet and hooking up some air to it. When logging my car, I noticed it was down about 4psi. I performed the test and found that my bypass valve was stuck open ever so slightly.
