What is so wrong with the SA rockers? I can get some 1.6 comps SA for 145.00 shipped (new) from a distributor. If a guy is looking for a good rocker on the cheap, why look further.

So let me get this straight.
An S/A rocker could twist left or right and slip off the end of the pushrod in some extreme situation, or for some weird reason.
and the NSA are manually aligned by a guide plate, therefore they are much less prone to do this?
How common are SA failures?
Thanx

I think it would have to be a really weird situation, as GM went to SA rockers MILLIONS of engines and BILLIONS of miles ago, with no serious issues. I'm using the GMPP SA rockers and Manley pushrods....But then again, I don't wind the beejesus out of my engine.
