Default 150 shot = 3HP

I posted a few days ago about my dyno session last weekend, but I don't think anyone could really figure out my results.

https://ls1tech.com/threads/showflat...31&fpart=1

Anyone else know why I managed to get 411hp on a 100 shot and only 414hp on a 150? I dont think it was the bottle pressure, it was near 1000lbs for the 100 shot, but still over 900lbs for the 150. BTW: I do have some EFI live files that logged the 2 runs if someone wants to look at them. Unfortunately i cant get the program to run on my puter. TIA

I dont think it is bottle pressure. Do another check on the jet #. Make sure you got the right jet in there. Even with 900psi, you still should make alittle more hp. But it also could be pressure, so get a bottle heater and get it to 1100-1200psi.

Well, I was thinking the same thing as far as the pressure not being its full potential, but not so much that it would only give me 3 more HP than the 100 shot. The jets are correct, i made sure to check them before I used them. I have a bottle heater, but it's only set to 1000 psi.

ok, I logged the runs. Since he can't get the software to run, I'll post the screenshots from each run. Note the KR!

All motor

150 Note the negative timing at the beginning of the run

"I have the exact same problem I have a 5177 kit"

The #5177 kit will not flow over about 135 HP even if you remove the jets.

I have heard that some nossels only flow so much even if you take the jet completely out. It may be maxed out at 103hp

From dry to wet! 5177 uses 30 amp relay wet uses 40 amp relay. 30 amps not enough to keep solenoids open. Fuel pressure swith, throw away. Make sure you have more than enough fuel supply!!! Happy trails.
