Default Car is all back together,Nitrous, engine bay, CETA, blackbird stripes

Took some pics today, there are still a few things left to do, but everything is about done. Nitrous is all hooked up and wired in the engine bay (interior still looks like a disaster ) FAST painted and installed (still need to get rid of that PCV hose, it looks like garbage, but it will do for the present) CETA done, and just put on the blackbird stripes.

Before:

After:

Painted FAST 90/90, Painted and filled lid (still waiting for my firebird emblem to come in the mail for it, its going to be in red to match the fast lettering) Polished valve covers, painted coil brackets, hit the fuel rails with some paint as well, they were pretty gross looking. Also gone is EGR and AC

new blackbird stripes (car is filthy from sitting in the garage all winter)

CETA ( i know i know i need to straighten my exhaust tips, they always twist, i am just going to tack weld them i think

Damn, i'm starting to get jealous of all these clean engine bays. Mine should be deemed a disaster area. looks really good though !

Engine bay looks good. I'm in the middle of doing the same thing... painting the FAST, new fuel rails, and a general clean up of the wiring.

That looks really good. It's going to look even better after you take care of your PCV.

I know this may be a really dumb question, but what all is involved with removing the AC the way you did?

well mine wasnt charged, so i didnt have to empty it... it just unbolts and comes out, MAYBE a 10 minute job. I also removed the condenser which requires you to remove the shroud where the lid sits to get at it. With all the AC and EGR stuff i dropped 40+ lbs of the front end.

I hate to be the one to rain on your parade but, your Blackbird stripe (atleast on the driverside) is up too high. the portion closest to teh windshield needs to come down about half an inch.
other than that, good work on the engine bay.

Looks good! I really want to do the ceta to mine. You plan on getting black or gunmetal rims to match your stripes and ceta?

meh im not really a fan of black rims, everyone around here (esp the mustang crowd) over does it. Gunmetal wouldn't look bad, but i think when its time for some new rims, i am going to step up to some CCW sp500's or 505a's

your car is where i got the idea for the 505a's. My friend has them on his 03 Cobra and they are hot. I am torn between them and the sp500's, they look really good on my friend's 02 firehawk. I have some other things to take care of before i drop $2800 on wheels
