Default ? for those who have remote mounted coils...

Where did you mount them?
How? Stock assemblies on standoffs? make your own?
What wires did you use? Pre-fab or did you buy wire/ends and make 'em?

I'm remote mounting them on my project and trying to get some ideas.

I've searched and it's turned up very little.

Thanks!

Here are the coils in my Maverick. I wanted to put them down low on the crossmember, but everyone here said they'd give me (wet-related) problems...

That's good info!

I was going to mount them below the exhaust ports (using inverted LS2 mani's) so, I suppose it's good knowledge that they are not sealed enough to mount them that low.

Is that a home made bracket?

It's 14 pcs of 1/4" pipe cut to 1 1/4" lengths and spaced (7 ea) on two pcs of all-thread. End brackets were made from the scrap bin...

Hey, that looks pretty good, I might use a modified version of that for my own swap! Kind of surprised that no-one else has chimed in on this though...
