Default Best kit for 100RWHP shot on stck motor

hey guys,i'm a little new to nitrous, i've read the past few weeks of posts in this forum and i'm still having trouble deciding. What i'm looking for is the safest, not neccesairily the cheapest, way to do make 100whp with a shot, on a stock engine, i've got a few of the boltons on a manual tranny, i'll have headers soon. I'm open to suggestions, opinions, wet or dry, and also looking for specific kits and accessories i would need to make this as safe as possible without over dong it. hopefully only simple tuning required

I went with a NX wet kit. I have basically stock motor and bolt ons. Just make sure that you get a Fuel pressure safety switch (FPSS) and RPM window switch (especially if you have an M6). I have been spraying the 100 shot for about 6 months with no issues. Hope this helps.

I am not an impartial judge since I am a Warehouse Distributor for NX, but I really do have a lot of faith in thier systems and not just becasue I sell them. A NX Stage 1 system with just few small safety devices is a very dependable and very safe system. If you have any question feel free to email me sales@speedtechnologies.net or call me at 417-581-1175. Thanks

I have used a NX kit for almost a year. Sprayed a 150 shot for almost the same amount of time with no issues. And you can run it dry or wet.

Just make sure you have all the safety devices.

A lot of guys will say that dry is safer and easier for a 100shot and they may be right. I did a TNT wet kit with a 100shot on a bolt-on car and couldn't be happier. It hit hard and was pretty easy to put on.

the nos dry kit is the easiest thing to install and has a 15lb bottle, whatever you go with dont hit it till you hit 2nd gear though, or you WILL be blowing your clutch and or rear end if you have any traction at all!

I've heard a lot of good things about the nos 5177 for a simple 100 shot. Easy to install, easy to hide (if that's your bag ), and makes decent power. I think tnt and nx rate closer to rwhp and nos rates fwhp but I could be wrong. Wet should give a little more torque, dry should be a little safe and more conservative so long as your fuel system can handle it. What year is your car? Some years have bigger (28.5?) injectors which is also a factor on how big you can go with dry and stay safe. I'll probably run a 100-125 dry on my 98 and see where I go from there.

I have a stock interal engine - no head, no cam. I have been running the TNT F1 100 shot for 2 years now. 436 rwhp, 507 rwtq; 11.38 at 124. I'll keep my TNT set up.

By the way, there is no "safe" nitrous set-up, if it is not installed and managed correctly.

Installed the "GM EFI" kit by NX earlier this year in my '94. I've only run 3 bottles through it, but no problems so far and it sure did bring a smile to my face when I beat (previously) faster cars with only a 75-shot.

Running 100 shot jets now and took .91 off ET and added 10 MPH in the traps when compared to back to back NA and "spray" runs.

I do not have a RPM window switch as my car is an A4 and I keep it in "D" when I run the spray. If you have an M6, get the window switch in case you ever miss a shift while on the hose.
