starting probelm
I replaced my starter and starter wire.. now when i go to crank the car some times i just hear a loud click from the starter it might happen 10 times then start finally then wont happen for a while then do it again. Ive heard ignition switch, someone told me the key could do it from the chip being old, or neutral safety.. its just a really loud CLICK

try jumping the solenoid with a wire, or screwdriver, if that works every time then keep moving your way back to the ignition switch. really sounds like a bad connection. try putting it in neutral and see if it changes anything.

Does it sound like this - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9XI76...e=channel_page
Its the solenoid. Did the new starter come with new solenoid? The problem lies with the main power wire that travels from the starter to the solenoid. I think on the old starters you could fix this problem by turning the stud on the back of the solenoid half way around. Does anyone know what Im talking about?
