LT1-LT4 Modifications 1993-97 Gen II Small Block V8

Does the '93 Corvette LT1 auto come with a 4L60E?

Default Does the '93 Corvette LT1 auto come with a 4L60E?
I just wondered which trans it came with and didn't know if it's a 700R4.

I think the 93 was a (TMH 700-R4)
I could be wrong

I did some more looking and it looks like the 93 trans was a 4l60. then in 94 they went to the 4L60E

the '93 was definately a 4L60... the th700r4 has a 4-wire plug-in on the side, and the 4l60 has a 5-wire. and the 4l60e has either a 12 or 16 wire..

They changed in mid year to the 4l60e. My Dad had a 93 Vette and we had to figure out which one it had.
