Default Carb for Stock lq9

I have a friend that wants to put a stock lq9 into his 85 silverado, and he wants to put a carb on it. Well I can find the intake and msd ignition needed for the engine, but I am wondering what carb would be good to use for this setup.

If its mostly a daily driver id run a holley 750 vac. secondary, you could go with an edelbrock 750 but they dont pull as hard on full throttle blasts.

yes it will be a daily driver that will for the most part not see much over 40 mph, and will do a bit of towing.

A 650 or 750 should be fine. I have seen other carb builds going for maximum HP and they use 850 no problem

for a dialy driver, i would buy a holley street avenger. i think they label it a 670, but its a 650 mainbody.
that will get a choke, and all the goodies.
