Default 98 Trans Am Vs. 99 Mustang GT

I just got my trans am on friday and my buddy had his 21st bday over the weekend and one of his buddies saw me pull up and in his drunken state started talkin a lil bit of smack saying how his buddies mustang would wipe the floor with me, saying how he has a bunch done to it, and I didn't have a chance.... Well tonight we met up and ran a bunch of times. The first run we did was
50-100 and I got him by 2-3
next was
0-90 and I got him by at least 4
He wanted a 25-125 thinking he had more top end than me.... bad idea, I was ahead by 4.
There were a couple other runs that we did but I think you all get the point.
His mods were xpipe and exhaust cold air intake, diablo programmer, and lowering springs. he was a manual also.
My mods are magnaflow catback, lid, k and n, and free mods. so basically stock. I have an A4

And what made this sweeter was his friend that was talkin was in the car with him and whitnessed the whole thing. Now I need to mod up because that was alot of fun!

Nice kill.......you had a ~50rwhp advantage, easily.

And...why do you say he is basically stock, when your mods are identical, with the exception of his 'box tune' which is probably hurting him.?

This is why I brought it up....it's a moot point really. Just curious why the comment was made on one car and not the other, given both cars are modded almost identical.

Nit picky...I know..... I was just curious, tis all.

pony does got a point. haha. nit picky but alot of people on here especially the mustang guys will point out when you try and glorify your car a little for being stock, when really so is his car.

either way nice putting that drunken idiot in his place! and you have 2.73's too holy lord . . .

Great kills. Now get rid of those 2.73s so that when he comes back with a few more mods, you'll still kick his ***.
