what harm does running w/o O2 sensors have on my car?

No harm, it will just run in speed density mode. It won't be the most optimal as o2 sensors constantly adjust your A/F ratio. I wouldn't worry about running it that way until you get the o2's hooked up. My buddy has headers and never ran extensions to his o2's. He's been running that way for a few months.
