Default Are blackbird stripes easy to put on?

Hey, just curious on how easy they are to put on correctly? I mean to pretty much keep them straight and not crooked and how would you know exactly where to put them for the correct fitment and placement? Dumb question, but I have never put them on and I'm thinking of getting some...

Use soapy water and you can position them correctly pretty easily.

Use a 3M™ Wetordry™ Rubber Squeegee, they're awesome for installing vinyl stickers!

If you get a nice set with quality vinyl that is premasked, you can use soapy water to to position the vinyl wherever you want with ease

Easy to do just make sure if you get the reflective vinyl not to use water when you put them on. Its recommended not to use water on that type of vinyl.

I had both sides of mine on in 30 minutes. Their easy to put on. Get a spray bottle of water, soak the sides of the nostrils, place them on. Check your positions, make sure they are straight. You can get a tape measure to do two things, one, make sure they are straight, and two, to make sure both sides are in even spots.

Soak the crap outta the areas on the hood, and the stripes before you place them down. You can tape them in place once your satisfied so they don't move, but they stayed put for me. Then get a squeegee or a body filler applicator and run all the water out. The next day mine were dry and in place.

They can't be any harder than installing cowl stripes....

Just take you time and mark reference points on the hood with tape.

I had just done a few searches and didnt hit on any pics (

Just wondering if they are the hood pics on the ws6 or someting more swirly like the feather type graphics on the 25th.

Believe me, use plenty of soapy water.. itll evap. off. once its starts to stick and if you dont have it perfect... ewww!

I messed up some of my tail light webbing graphics.. Yea much less of a eye sore if I mess up the rear as opposed to the front... but I know I messed it up

I've put a set on in 15 minutes with sopay water and a squeegee. I had no problems with it at all. Just make sure you make some marks for the top of the stripes at the front and back of each nostril, and you're golden.
