Default my thirdgen finally lsx powered!

just a little 11:1 347 with a baby cam and stock 241's, but it's mine non-the-less! getting very close to starting her up. i gotta make a trans crossmember and build the exhaust, round up a few stray sensors and finish up the wiring harness. let me know what you think!

sitting in it's proper home with Hawks LT's:

RPM stage V 4l60e with a fresh rebuild by local OD guru Gary Marshall with red alto clutches and kolene steels (i guess i can't really say it's an RPM trans anymore, eh?) going between the two is a VIG3600

and some basic pics of the rest of the car:

I think that it's not QUITE LS-powered yet...! Still, you're a little bit further along than I am, so I just sat here for a second & soaked in the pic of the engine in the thirdgen bay... (Hopefully I can get mine stabbed in next week.)

I was trying to think of why that pic seemed so familiar (esp. that lettering on the cowl hood), but then saw your "familiar" nickname in the URL & realized that I do know the car, & you're just using a different nickname on this board... Time for my 2nd cup o' joe I guess...

Nice progress, keep it up!

What seats are those? They look like 3rd gen seats modified to have belts through them.

alright, got the 4l60e crossmember all fabbed up using a stock thirdgen one to build off of (thanks sean!) i also built my y-pipe and will build the rest of the system at some point next week i hope. (maybe tuesday)

it'll take a couple of tweeks, but the pipes coming off the collectors are on exactly the same plane as the collectors, and the y is slightly above the plain, the pictures through it off by the angle i had to be at in order to take the pics:
