Re: ?? Part# for the multilayer steel head gaskets for an '02?? The original # was 12573949. If you enter this # on gmpartsdirect, it changes to # 88894343 which is a gasket kit that must include the head bolts because of the price difference.

Just checked it and sure enough it switched to the other #.
I was also over on "JMX's LS1 how to" page and saw the part # 12498544 for '02 and up. I checked GMpartsdirect and it came up as the headgaskets for '02 and up LS1.
The question is are these the multilayer steel ones?

Re: ?? Part# for the multilayer steel head gaskets for an '02?? I ordered some LS6/LQ9 6.0L heads from Patriot Performance and I'm also wondering which part # I need to get the multilayered steel gaskets that will fit these heads.
