Default 17x11 on all 4's camaro LOWERED?

hey guys, i was going to set my camaro up more for road racing and i wanted to run 17x11's all the way around and i think it looks badass lol. Also, i wanted my car real low, so im going to use G2 sprigns, and i know theres ppl that use 17x11's front and rear but i was wondering if they would be able to fit with a car being that low without serious rubbing, thanks alot - cory d i'd be using 17x11 zr1 replicas 50mm offset

Not sure, but I have 9.5" on my fronts and they rub a little on the inside at full lock. I don't know how well that's gonna work with 11".

11's can fit - it has been done. I'm sure someone here will chime in that has done it. I believe they run the QA1 shocks, and 17"X11" on all four corners with 315s or 305s (can't remember).

The first place I think it will rub is the plastic inner fender which is easily taken care of. I think carefull offset choice is going to be key to keeping them inside the fender and not hitting on the inside while turning.

I know this car has 17x11s all the way around. The fenders are rolled on the rear.

94Z28rag posted the following on another thread.

Lots of guys run that setup, its the most common autocross/road race setup.

Check out the road race forum or frrax.com for more info.

You'll need to do some modifications, and you'll still get some rubbing. The severity of the rubbing will depend on how low it is, how stiff it is, and how you drive. I've run 17x11 with 315's all the way around before, but probably not as much drop as you want. Rolled rear fender lips, pounding inner fenders, adjustable panhard bar, some front fender mods are all going to be needed.

It's been done before no big deal.

Just watch what brand tires you run

some 315's are way wider than others

and that will give you rubbinig or clearance

issues.

forgot to answer your question, with those wheels you will need spacers

at least 3/8" for the fronts and depending how happy you get with the big

hammer maybe none in the back. But most likely will be best with a 1/4" one
