Default Disconnecting fuel line

Alright I gotta get my intake manifold off and get the heads off, I bought a 3/8" fuel line disconnect tool to disconnect the ful line from the fuel rail. Any tricks to this? I bought the tool and its not really working

Some times its a PITA. The aluminum permanent tools are better than the cheap plastic ones. You have to try using the tool in different positions. Like rotate it 120 degrees and try again. You also have to push the fuel line towards the rail why you are pushing the disconnect tool away from the rail. Some time you just have to pull really hard on the tool. Good luck man.

I have had good luck with just a small screw driver. One clip at a time.

Push line forward, insert tool, and twist while pulling back
