Building a Ls2 and had some questions.
I'm looking into getting an Ls2 block soon.
I have Ls6 heads and a cam-232/234 already.
What i was wondering was, i want to make it a 402 stroker. But i want to reuse my stock Ls1 crankshaft if so would it work also would i just order the regular 402 stroker type rods and pistons?
any info would help thanks

also will ls6 heads fit on this and also will this be a direct swap into a ls1 vehicle no extra sensors or any of that. http://texas-speed.com/shop/item.asp

Heads will fit right on you will need relocate knock and cam, sensors. Your LS1 crank will not give you the needed stroke to acheive 402 cubes. You will need a 402 rotating assembly. Do not take this the wrong way but it seems you need to do some very basic reading and research on this.

LS2 is an aluminum block. To achieve a 402, you'll need a 4" stroke crankshaft, specific pistons for the longer stroke, and its advisable to get a decent set of forged connecting rods.
Do some more research. Read this:
