Default LS1 stalling

Hello, I am from the FFR GTM forum were we use a LS1 in our GTM’s and was told to come over here were the experts are to answer my question. I have a 98 Corvette LS1 which is stock except for headers and the EGR has been removed and the lines plug. The intake manifold has been reversed so to fit in the mid engine bay. The engine starts and runs great but, after it comes up to operating temperature it wants to stall. It does not always stall, it sometimes drops very low and comes back up to a 600 rpm. I getting a code # PO506 ( Idle system – low engine speed). Does anybody have any ideas on what I should be looking for to resolve my problems?
Thanks for your help.
Joe

Probably a vacuum leak or unmetered air getting into the engine after the MAF sensor. Those would be logical issues since you moved the intake around. The tuning section is a more logical section for this question though....moving thread into there.

Hi Joe,
Where are you located? Is this a complete drop in? PCM, Harness, engine?
