questions about a 5.3 into 94 z28 i have a complete 2007 5.3L LM7 with 33,000 miles. It has everything from intake to oil pan, minus the alternator. It came with the wiring harness also. I'm looking to possibly pick up a 94 z28 without an engine and swap it in. I've used the search link and didn't really find the info i was looking for. Can anybody help me out here?
Knowing the car had an LT1:
What all things would i need to complete this swap and make it work?
Would i need 5.3 motor mounts?
Would the LT1 radiator work with the 5.3?
Would a 94 LT1 tranny bolt up to a 5.3?.

You can make it work
Yes you will need an application specific converter or a spacer.
To answer your future question tci makes the spacer. And you will probably have to elongate the flexplate holes for the converter. Or you could just buy the sfi flexplate which is a direct bolt in. To answer your next future question tci makes that too. HTH Chris
