Default 02 Z06 heads on 01 Z28?

Is there much of a difference between the 01 Z28 heads and the 02 Z06? What would some typical gains be? and would it even be worth the time to do the install or would it be best to go with some better heads to make it worth it? Only reason i'm asking is because i found some 02 Z06 heads for $200 and was thinking about buying them.

If you found some Z06 heads for $200 pick them up ASAP.

Then turn around and sell them for $500 on here, or use them. Make sure the casting number says 243.

They will gain about 15-20rwhp on your car.

Unless he goes with a cam that has a smaller base circle, then he can use stock length. That is why the LS6 uses stock LS1 length.

Was basing it on a normal LS1 base circle. Havnt seen any aftermarket cams before with a small base circle?

Can we get into this a lttle more, I am also upgrading to LS6 heads, ordering a bigger cam, so what about my hardened stock length pushrods..
