Arrow NEW Lunati CAM! 232/238 .599/.601 #60512

Well just got me a new cam for the WS6 it's the Lunati 232/238 .599/.601 on a 113 lsa VOODOO CAM #60512!
Will be using stock 243's with cometic 40 head gaskets on a stock 5.7. What spring would be good for that lift patriot gold's PRC?

I would definitely say a double spring, but I'd say a beehive could handle it. This has been the cam that I have put on my "next cam" list a long time ago, and I havent changed my mind yet. Post up some sound clips/numbers soon!

I heard a sound clip of it. By far the best sounding cam I have ever heard. I think if you do a search for 60512 you can find where I have posted a clip of it. Nasty!

Valve events are:

Ex Opens- 56 BBDC
Ex Closes- 2 ATDC

Intake Opens- 7 BTDC
Intake Closes- 45 ABDC

109 CL with 4 degrees advanced.

Now myself I've been eyeing up the new voodoo line for the LS engines which are 15 degrees larger then the old line, especially the 237/243 .600"/.600" 113 VooDoo Cam, the valve events on that one are....

Advertised Duration- 288/290
237/243 @ 50 Duration
.600"/.600" Lift
113LSA
109CL
4* Adv.
2600-7200RPM

Exhaust Opens-58.5 BBDC
Exhaust Closes-4.5 ATDC

Intake Opens-9.5 BTDC
Intake Closes-47.5 ABDC

I just put this cam into my car and got it running last weekend on PP 241s. I put behives on the heads. I haven't done any high RPM runs yet but I expect they'll be fine. I'm going to stick my rev limiter @ 6800 in hopes of keeping any valve float at bay.

If you sound clips, I can get some later today. Let me know.

I emailed Lunati asking them about the cam and on what engine combo they used when they did the R/D, and they all but answered my question, saying that with all the head/block options out there it should work good with about anything... not the predatorZ answer I was looking for... but they did at least tell me all about their rocker arms and how they would compliment their cam... and that their 408 rotating assy is great...

Does anyone know what this cam would work best with? I would really like to design a combination around this cam and give it what it needs to be as nasty as it can.
