Default New system dream sheet. Opinions?

Hey guys. I'm to the point were I'm replacing my intire sound system in my '99 T/A. Im not the big bass type or person, I just want a nice, crisp and clear sound system that isnt over powering but is quality as well.

Here is what I'm thinking. I'll be grabbing everything from Kee Audio I believe. (any and ALL opinions on them are greatly appriciated.)

Stock speaker replacement:

4th Generation Firebird and Camaro Premium Replacement Speaker System
Full Speaker Replacement
Premium Speaker Package Includes:
1.) CDT CL-E61CV component speaker system (doors)
2.) CDT CL-6 midwoofer drivers (sail panels)
3.) CDT CL-4EX coaxials (rear hatch)

Headunit replacement: (I like this because it's cheap, compatible with steering controls, same red theme as gauges, and has front AUX for my Iphone)

JVC KDAR-390

SUB/Box: (should I grab 2 or 4 ohms!? I really have no clue on subs or amps)

10" MTX 55-Series Subwoofers
TR5510-04 or TR5510-02

Fiberglass backed enclosure for 10" or 12" subwoofers
Custom fabricated from fiberglass and 3/4" mdf, each one is made to the specific specs of your subwoofer. Square subwoofer cutouts are also available. Coated inside with rubberized coating for sound deadening and completely sealed. Exterior is primed and finished in flat black. Choice of carpet: charcoal, black, and gray

AMP:

NO CLUE!! Help!? Prefer Kee audio...

Just one 10" sub in the driver side steath space. There really isnt a price range for the amp. Nothing insane though, I just want NICE bass/sound. Not blow the glass out of my hatch type sound. However, I realize you get what you pay for.

the Cadence FXA-1500 amp and the TR5510 4ohme sub should hit ur needs and at the same time ur leaving space for adding another sub later.

and it u want more bass from only one subwoofer get the Alpine's SWR-1042D 10 and connect the wires in parallel

So basically with that amp I'd be able to run my 6 component speakers (the ones in the package) along with the single sub?

what u can do is put a component speakers in the doors, one way speakers in the sail (mid bass not sub) and a sub in the back and ditch the hatch 4" speaker .

IMO if ur putting a 10" sub in the back u dont need subs in the sail

Gotcha. Any suggestions? I know absolutly nill about sound systems, just very basic stuff. Anything you suggest is helpful.

Agreed about the hatch speakers, everything I've heard says their pretty useless anyway.

to be more clear,

a component speaker is a speaker that consists of: a subwoofer, crossovers and a tweeter.

a coaxial speaker is a shitty midbass speaker witha shitty tweeter stuck in the middle.

and a subwoofer is a SUBWOOFER,

hope that helps

I, my self knowtest a drop in the volt meter gauge when i replaced my factory pully with a 25% UD, and after the big3 upgrade thing became better.

btw use a 1/0 gauge wire for ur upgrade.
