Default p/s pump pulley question

If you grab your power steering pump pulley without the belt on, is it normal for there to be some play? I'm replacing my opti and I noticed that about mine..

I havent started it knowing the pulley is loose. I am replacing my opti due to a no spark condition. When I took the bolt behind the pulley for the water pump out, my socket got caught between the two and started pulling on the pulley. I noticed it right away and stopped using the tool. I think I may have pryed the pulley off its shaft a little, causing it to wobble but it feels smooth as butter when I rotate it.
