3.73's..that is the question
i want to put gears in my car and was wondering what some people thought. i really want 4.10's but i cant afford a new rear if it blows, so i was looking at 3.73s. do you even think it is worth changing from 3.42s to 3.73s.. will i see or feel a difference or should i just keep what i got..

Re: 3.73's..that is the question
If anything i would go 4.10s but it is a little risky. You want feel much difference going from 3.42s to 3.73s. Personally if i had an m6 i would save the money for a caminstall or something. Plus with your 100 shot your 3.42s will be alot more rewarding.

4.10s are definitely the way to go... that's what I have in my stock 10 bolt (with T/A Girdle) and have no complaints yet. I do suggest, however, to switch to a thicker rear end fluid if you go with 4.10s... I went with 80w140 from Redline, and mine are as quiet as the stock 3.42s now.
