Default Regulator/Motor finally took a dump.

Anybody have any tips for a regulator change? Just posted a thread a week ago about replacing it and today I heard the grind and the window stop moving

Any tips or tricks.. I got a lot to buy

Yes use those write-ups. Don't follow the typical repair manual's instructions, it will have you pull the whole darn thing out of the door. A pain, I did it and ended up bending it ever so slightly so my window doesn't move smoothly anymore Drilling those three holes is 100x easier and much must faster.

Drill the three holes to remove the motor. Then drill out the regulator rivets. Having the motor off will make it easier to get the reg outof the door.

If you need it I have a good reg (either side) and a brand new motor. Pm if interested

I thought that but there was no holes already there so some one did it the hard way I guess. And the bad part is that it sems that they have over tourqed the screws and stripped the treads out so the wont back out.
