Pontiac Firebird 1967-2002 - Noob Help. Is this the old fog lamp switch?

I bought this car about two weeks ago and I'm trying to fix it up. I noticed on the left side of the dash below the headlight switch a hole. Inside the hole seems to be the remains of another switch. I'm assuming is the fog light switch. Am I correct in my assumption?

Yes, that is where the fog lamp switch is supposed to be.

It has I believe 5 or 6 wires. Is there a way to rig it till I can get a real switch?

Rigging it will probably be more of a headache than its worth IMO just wait til you get a switch. :nod:

yeah I found one off ebay. I'm praying this will be the correct one, considering this is the second one I've bought. :bang:

What year is your car? to my knowledge the fog lamp switches do not differ from year to year on the late 4th gens.
