hello eveyone, im a new member here but iv been looking for a v for a long time, i had trouble deciding between a v or a 05 06 gto. but i love how the v's look and also having 4 doors. so iv decided to get a caddy, i recently found a 2004 with 108,000 miles on it. which is alot more than what i was looking for. but i have talked the guy down to $11,000.00 . hes a ceo that drove it as his company car. so its mostly highway miles. he says he never drove it hard, and has taken good care of it. it comes with a xtra set of wheels with snow tires that are 80% also, and he also had the performance suspension put on it when he ordered it new. im kida scared of the rearend, he says its never been replaced, and im sure it needs motor mounts by now, but do you guys think this is a decent deal? if so im picking it up this weekend.

Test drive it and take it to a GM dealer and pay to have them do a full inspection on it! Its worth the cost!

For 11k Give me his info and I'll buy it. JK, But it is a good deal to get into a V if you ask me. Mine has almost 99k on her and she still runs strong and not a leak to be found, just the stupid nav buttons piss me off. Go for it.

The only thing I have had to do on mine was replace the oil level sensor. Not bad at all $20 and I just installed it when I changed the oil.

You must own a 04-05(flaking buttons issue)? lol, Thats awesome that you have over 90k+ miles and its still running strong! Do you have any vids of the car doing work on the street? lol

I dont have any vids but I guess I could try and take one with my old school dig camera or phone. (no camcorder). What would be something to take a video of? lol, and no burn outs intentionally, the blizzaks burn up fast (snow is still on the ground up here in MN.) Maybe a 1-3rd gear run?
And yes it is a 04'. And dont tell XM but I still have free Xm radio, for the last year, WHOO!

I know that is where my oil lever sensor came from but they will just do the same thing again :( and poof 100 bones gone. At least the flat back rattle can works great for the vol. knob.

what i did if it helps, I went to oreillys and bought a spray can of flat clearer and put over the buttons before install and they wont do it again and you can just barely tell they have been sprayed.

hey, drove all the way to chicago. met up with the guy then followed him to where the car was. and damn!!! absolutely beautiful! body near mint. only one dent above rear wheel, very minor. he just had it detailed. interor looked brand new. there is a very minor dirt spot on ceiling. 3 of the radio buttons are missing a very small amount of paint. but everything else is as clean as a brand new car! and on top of that i got an extra set of 4 wheels and snow tires with the air pressure sensors in them. I hear those sensers are 150.00 a peice. chicago got 8 inches of snow that morning so we drove it to the dealer and he asked them if they could store it there overnite and put my snow tires on in morning so i could drive home safely, so they rolled it into the showeroom and set it next to a brand new vet!! so they must have known this guy real well. but anyhow i got it home and the damn starter went out. but thats a small price to pay considering i only gave 11,000 for the car. oh and he said at 2:00 the same day while i was on my way to chicago someone else from missouri called and offered him 17,000.00 for it!! thank god he was a nice enough guy to turn that down because i woulda been shit outa luck. but ya, i love the car, still runs great. oh and the snow wheels and tires are for sale if anyone is interested? i try to get some pics up.

Wow I can't believe you got a V for $11k. Congrats!
Now get rid of that front plate bracket!
FYI the tire pressure sensors are about $42 each, and silver is only the fastest color if we're discussing skydiver's car. Don't let these guys kid you.
Watch out for black V's, they'll burn you every time. :D

Have to run a front plate in Missouri, and not just laying in the front windshield..:bang:

yea, i was wondering how you guys were getting away with no front plates. we would get pulled over 10 ft from the driveway here in missouri. im guessing thats legal in some states.

yeah they are pricks about that in illinois too. and with all the tint that is on my car I fear I may be making a bad mistake when i take mine off :eyes:
In my town its fine but go 20 mintes west and they will pull you over in a heartbeat. (or any smal town cop that is bored and on a powertrip will have a hay day)

lol 90 bills for a oil change. Change it your self, its less that $40, and this way you can even have a wix or K&N oil filter ;)
And we all know black V's are the quickest.:engarde:
