Default Aftermarket balancer for TA spinning 7k?

Basically just wondering if a stock balancer can handle 7k rpm and 425ish RWHP? I'm hoping I don't need to get an aftermarket one but I also don't want to ruin the world either. Thanks.

Several people have done so, although at that RPM I'd prefer a keyed hub with a Super/Fluid Damper.

We're internally balanced, but if you want to play it safer then you could add in a key to the factory hub. Stock motors can easily do 6500, so I'm kinda thinking 7K isn't outside the limits of the factory hub.

Hmmm. So a keyed hub and reuse the stock balancer???

Where would I get a keyed hub? This is one area I'm not very knowledgable on. Thanks.

I've been checking out the hubs and balancers that jegs sell. Together is just under $300 and they say they hold up to 12,500 RPM. Does anyone think this setup would be ok to use?

I spoke to Thunder Racing about this today since the Pioneer keyed hub is out of stock, I mentioned the Jegs peice and he said it looked identical to the Pioneer keyed crank hub. Although on Jegs site, they mentioned you can only use their brand Harmonic Balancer Pulley with it.

Hmmm... I'm thinking I'll go with the Jegs hub and balancer. They say it'll take lots of RPM, so I'll trust them on this one.

there is a locater pin on the hub that needs to be grounded down so the stock balancer will work took about a minute to do but still I recommend it ! I was waiting for the hub to get in stock since april so rather than wait for pioneer to get the hub in stock i brought from jegs
