Thumbs up Should I Up Grade to a Fast 90/90 ???

Im wondering if I should upgrade my LS6 intake and ported tb, to a fast 90/90 set up. I did sum research about this, but im looking to get sum input. Im going to put a good size cam (MS4) in one day, but not anytime soon. Im just trying to get the most rwhp i can, without putting a cam in just yet. Any input will he helpful. Im putting down 396hp/392tq (LS6 swap, bolt ons, CMS tuned)

The reason im asking this question, because im getting a good deal from a friend of mine

i saw a dyno where the fast put out a wee bit more power than the ls6 intake, but it will put out more power as you start to add cam, heads, etc.

If its a really good deal then do it but I would not pay 800 or more for plastic. With that money u can get a pulley or something else or even nitrous.

You don't need the 90/90, just get a pulley.

Stop making fun of him, because not only could you get a pulley, there would be enough money left over to get a TB bypass kit, smooth bellows, and one of those tornado things. And according to Speed TV is good for another 20HP at the wheels.

What kind of a deal is it? They are going for pretty cheap right now but honestly id do the cam now and dont wait. You will see alot bigger gain from a cam than the intake. Once you have heads and cam done then get the fast and it will really make a difference.

If you plan on doing cam/heads then pick it up. Your not going to see any major gains on a stock cam and head though.

lmao!

I would do the FAST first man. The FAST will be a quick and simple install, will net you 10 or more hp/tq to the tires (throughout the majority of the curve also), better throttle response, better mpg, there will be no sacrifices in driveability whatsoever and you'll be ready for the cam afterwards

I would do it because its a good steping stone to everything else. H/C or whatever will benefit more with the FAST than with the LS6 manifold.
