Default Vibration!!!!!please help!!!!!

i have a vibration through the shifter when i rev the engine in neutral and driving.....guy i bought the car from said it has an ls7 clutch and vette ls2 flywheel.....he said to put a wear plate on the fly and get it balanced but i'm wondering if anyone has had this problem before.....


02 ss 35th....m6....red...

I have that same setup. I have a 5.0 shifter which is stiff so it vibrates a little but doesn't vibrate anymore when I rev then it does at idle..

yeah i have the 5.0 as well but this a vibration.....horrible i don even drive the car anymore in fear of destruction!!!! my shifter rattles a little....but all the pro 5's do.....

Replace the whole clutch kit. They're fairly cheap to replace.

I would change the mount before you change the whole clutch kit. I've heard of people getting crazy vibration out of the mount. Put a rubber mount on, see what happens.

preciate the help replaced mount and clutch/master still has vibration gonna try the flywheel next may be warped or need a wear plate...yay ls7 clutch flywheel parts so easy to find....NOT!!!

+1, if your gonna do all the work to get to the flywheel you might as well just buy a whole new kit.

Ok the flywheel clutch master everything to replace is replaced...i'm wondering do you need the ls7 balancer because of the hollow crank journals on the vettes?????

vibration fixed...gm performance ls7 clutch pressure plate and flywheel...the flywheel that was in the car is an all aluminum with a bolt on steel wear plate throwing the motor balance off....don even know if that flywheel is worth anything if you know anyone needing a ls7clutch and pressure plate they are still in great condition...flywheel looks good but do not know of an application for it...
