Motor is finally ready to go!!
Just got the call tonight that my motor is done. Car has been apart since Sept getting new rear trans and motor. Rear has been in for awhile now and everything is ready I have just been waiting for a motor. If all goes right I should have some sound clips Sat if I can get it to the point of firing it. Just had to let it out, I have been trying to be so patient. Thanks for listening and stay posted.

Waited on the heads from Trick Flow forever, then had to wait for LME to get them solid roller prepped and then once I got everything I got the stuff to my builder and had to wait for him to build it. No problem just getting real anxious the last couple of weeks.

^^^correct, but there is a trade off. Alot more expense in your valvetrain and adjusting valves on a regular basis. However, having enough mechanical knowledge and the will to want to work on your stuff adjusting valves is not a big concern. It also allow you to spin the motor high and offer greater throttle response.

Keep us posted this is almost exactly what I would like to build in the next year or so. High compression solid roller LS7 through a 6 spd is going to be a bad ****. Are you running pump gas with that CR?

Yes, Just got it installed last night and this morning. Got ir running late this afternoon and took for a couple of short rides to check everything out. I can def tell this thing is going to be badass. You can feel so much under light throttle, just feels like alot of torque. I have a few small bugs to work out and put some more miles on her then we will strap her to the dyno and see what we got. Motor builder said run it after 200 miles, so maybe sometime this week.

^^^I was up there Sat after you left. I just pulled the trans back out for the 6th gear issue. Should have it back in tomorrow though. If you will be up there Friday around 5 ish maybe I can stop up. Or if you sill be there on Sat I can def get it up there. I would love to strap her down Sat but I am just going to wait for Nick's schedule. He was more than generous coming by Sat to get it running. I am very pleased with that alone.

Glad to hear its running. I was out there tonight working on a fuel system for Bob and he told me about the tranny issue. I wont be around any this weekend, heading off to the beach Thursday. I am deffinately anxious to see what the car will put down on the dyno. I think she is going to suprise us all.
