Default bolt on cam only lt1, rmps hang around 2k! wtf

it runs good but coming to a stop the car stays at 2k and backfires( pops) untill you completly stop and about 6 seconds later it will come down. anyone know what or why its doin this?

do you have a new TB wen i put my new TB on it would hang up as high as 4k u try sprayin it with some lube?

i just had it off today and cleaned it real good, i dont think theres any problems with it.

no, the car has a pcm4less tune...i just bought the car, just trying to go thought it and figure it out. there are no vac or gasket leaks that i know i checked the best i could its got all new sensors plugs and wires coil-icm. i cant figure out what would cause it to hang up....

vacuum gauge and a can of carb cleaner go a long way

shbox.com should have something in that regard

also how is the valve lash?

well nevermind didn't see the part about the car running good everywhere else, rule out cam timing and valve lash

possibly stuck TB blades or IAC valve

baldes are good and brand new iac.. oh and the car i very hard to start after hot and cool down...

Has it always had this problem or did it just occur lately. If it's the latter, tuning it won't address the actual problem.

sounds like he bought it that way

maybe throttle cable is binding
